It’s not often that our little neighborhood in the city receives the attention of a presidential candidate…let alone within walking distance from our house!  Since we weren’t inclined to arrive hours early to wait in line (with newborn baby in tow), we weren’t able to get in to the gathering, but I did enjoy the beautiful day, and the energy and excitement of the crowd gathered outside, and was able to catch a shot of Obama on his way out.

This was as far as we could go…but everyone seemed excited just to be near the excitement.

I borrowed this clip from my sweet friend Lee in Australia. It’s soooo funny, it had my husband and I in stiches! I just had to share it with all of you.
